The main branch of Yeas, which is now extinct were extremely wealthy and after the marriage of Sir William Yea and Julia Trevelyan of Nettlecombe in 1756, they built Pyrland House.
Pyrland Hall is now a school, part of the King's College, Taunton
Joyce Foster, whose mother in law, Emma Susan Yea, is a descendant of one of the Yea branches sent me this photograph and piece on Pyreland Hall, as it appeared in the school journal.
