Joseph is the son of Mary Yea, widow as he was born in 1786, two years after the death of Nicholas Yea. He was baptised in Kingston as son of Mary Yea.

Hi Sheila i am contacting you because i have found out i am related to joseph yeo and sarah thomas.It was great to see the facts about them on the Yeo web site.Joseph was my great great great grandad,his son james had a son William John Yeo who was my great grandad.William had a daughter called Bertha and her son Roy dickinson is my father.Bertha was born in Cudworth Yorkshire on 2.01.07. Hi Sheila,I would love an update on my tree please and dad and i are very happy to be added to it.I know very little about James Yeo other than he had a stonemasons business called Sharp and Yeo in Nottingham in the late 1800s. William John yeo his son married Ruth Lee at St Judes church Mapperley Nottingham on Dec 22 1900. William moved to Cudworth in East Yorkshire for work.William and Ruth had five children. Lucy was born in Nottingham in the june quater of1901 and died about age 13 in cudworth we think.Ada was born march 20 1904 in cudwrth she later married Wilf Hicks in Nottingam.Bertha Mary my grandmother came next 02.01.07 she married Herbert James Dickinson and had 3 sons Roy born 08.10.1926 Colin and Harold,births and marriage all took place in Nottingham as the whole family returned here from Cudworth.William John and Ruth then had two sons Thomas and Alfred Newman Yeo,we think Thomas was born in Nottingham and Alf certainly was. WilliamJohn died 13.07.195. aged81 and Ruth died 19.12.1938 aged 59 both in nottingham.Roy dickinson married Doreen Jenkins and i was born 17.01.1958. I hope this helps. Regards Elaine
