Sheila lives in Polgate, East Sussex and has done alot of research on the London branches of Yeo. James was a shoemaker and on the 1881 census had his place of birth as Torquay. Most of his male descendants also carried on the trade, except Sheila's great grandfather, William who went into the army. His son William Dearing Yeo, (Sheila's grandfather) was a professional cricketer and an army officer.
